By using Contrakr you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Contrakr is

Contrakr is a listing and communication platform that helps linemen find storm-restoration work and helps employers find crews. Contrakr is not an employer, staffing agency, broker, union, utility, contractor, or party to any work agreement. We do not guarantee jobs, pay, hours, safety, or the accuracy of any posting. Contrakr is not affiliated with Facebook, Meta, IBEW, any union, utility, broker, or contractor unless a written partnership says otherwise.

2. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about yourself and any call you post.
• Verify employers, pay, credentials, and job details independently before traveling or accepting work.
• Follow all applicable laws, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Don't post false, harassing, illegal, or spam content.

3. Content

You own what you post, but grant Contrakr a license to display and distribute it within the service. We may remove content that violates these terms. Posts shared into Contrakr from other platforms must be content you have the right to share, and you may not copy private, copyrighted, or confidential material into Contrakr without permission.

3a. Community conduct — zero tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, spam, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable. The Yard posts can be reported (tap the menu) and users can be blocked. We review reports as quickly as possible, remove violating content when found, and may suspend or ban offending users. By posting you accept these rules.

4. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Contrakr is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Weather data is sourced from the National Weather Service and is informational only — never rely on it as your sole source for life-safety decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contrakr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, work obtained through it, or reliance on any posting or weather information.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5a. Identity and credential documents

You may upload only authentic credential photos that belong to you and that you are authorized to share. You control which credential types accompany each application. A foreman may use shared documents only to evaluate or onboard you for that call and may not redistribute them. Contrakr records document-access events but does not independently guarantee that a credential is current, authentic, or sufficient for an employer's requirements.

6. Referral rewards

A successful referral gives the referred member and the referring member 30 days of Contrakr Pro. Existing Pro time is extended by 30 days. Each new account may redeem one referral code, self-referrals are prohibited, and each member may receive credit for no more than three successful referrals per calendar year. Fraudulent, duplicate, automated, or abusive referrals may be canceled.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
